MINI-ELEVATOR AND GRAIN TERMINAL CONTROL SYSTEM FOR DUMMIES

In today's farming, grain and oil crops storage plays an an important role. Small elevators in complex with the grain-cleaning machines are very widely used in this area.
Development of control systems, in particular as small objects, based on the experience of system integrators in the elevator industry, is a relevant and at the same time a typical challenge. To simplify the commissioning of small elevator or grain terminals control systems, CSC-AUTOMATION has developed a software and hardware suite that enables programming and setting up personnel system components, without special programming experience. The gained experience helped the company to create reference solutions to control elevators that are introduced as special functional units of the human interface shell.
The programming of the mentioned suite consists in configuration of transitions between the selected functional units and can be performed by engineering staff, both at the place of manufacture of elevators, and at the place of their operation.
No cost for the development of individual software and cost-effective hardware platform of the suite puts the proposal from CSC-AUTOMATION on the first place by the payback among small elevator control systems.
The introduction of the suite, consisting of a color touchpad, of the company operator and Mitsubishi
Electric programmable logic controller has been reviewed in proposed option. In addition to the suite, the supervisory system in the Citect SCADA environment has been developed, the use of this workplace is not obvious.

The block-modular approach in the development of the suite software makes it easy to upgrade the control system in the event of the process change.
