Orbinox BT (MSS SP-81) Bi-Directional Knife-Gate Valves – Reliable Shut-Off in Both Directions

Orbinox BT Series (MSS SP-81) — wafer-type bi-directional knife-gate valves for slurries, abrasives, viscous, corrosive media in pipelines. Design ensures tight shut-off in both directions for solids, non-clogging. Cast iron GG25 or stainless AISI 316L body, AISI 410/316L gate, EPDM/NBR/PTFE seats. Pressure PN10–PN40 (up to 16 bar for small DN), temperature -29°C…+200°C. EN 1092 PN10-40 or ASME B16.5 flanged ends. Class VI (API 598) tightness, low pressure drop. Compliance with MSS SP-81, API 598, EN 1982, ISO 5752. Applications: wastewater, pulp/paper, mining, food.

Orbinox BT (DN50–DN600, PN10–PN40)

Wafer design, bi-directional gate, rising stem. Pressure: 10–40 bar. Benefits: self-adjusting seats from both sides, minimal gate friction, abrasion resistance, easy maintenance without removal, long-life stainless packing.
