Orbinox CR Round-by-Square Port Knife-Gate Valves – Reliable Shut-Off for Demanding Applications

The CR model knife gate is a wafer valve designed for the use in difficult applications. This valve is generally suitable for recycling applications, such as junk or sand traps of pulpers, high density cleaners (HDC) or as silo outlet with solid material. The two piece body with round inlet and square outlet (larger than the inlet) ensures non-jamming. Cast iron EN-GJL250 or stainless CF8M body, 2205 (1.4462) gate, polyurethane rubber sleeve, Dynapack packing. Pressure 7 bar (DN100–400) to 4 bar (DN500–600), temperature -20°C…+80°C. EN 1092 PN10 / ASME B16.5 Class 150 flanged ends (inlet only). EN 12266-1 (Class A) tightness. Compliance with EN 1982, ISO 5752. Applications: recycling, pulper junk/sand traps, high-density cleaners (HDC), silo outlets.

Orbinox CR (DN100–DN600, PN10)

Wafer design with square outlet, rising/non-rising stem. Pressure: 4–7 bar (DN-dependent). Benefits: square outlet prevents contaminant build-up, replaceable gate guides, standard flush ports (for severe apps), duplex gate for higher pressure, easy maintenance without removal, long-life graphite-impregnated PTFE + aramid packing.
