Magnetic Bypass Level Indicators Series BM26A-1000, BM26A-3000, BM26A-6000, BM26A-7000, BM26A-8000

The BM26A series comprises robust magnetic bypass level indicators designed for direct level and interface measurement of liquids without requiring any power supply. They feature an all-metal construction with flaps housed in a hermetically sealed glass tube (IP68) and measuring ranges up to 5.5 m (longer on request). Each model is optimised for specific applications: BM26A-1000 for standard liquids, BM26A-3000 for corrosive media, BM26A-6000 for cryogenic applications, BM26A-7000 for extreme temperatures and pressures, and BM26A-8000 for redundant measurement combined with radar transmitters.

Operating Principle

A magnetic float travels inside a bypass chamber connected to the tank. As the float moves with the liquid level, its magnetic field rotates bi-coloured flaps in the external indicator rail, providing a clear, contact-free visual indication of the actual level.
