Series LT magnetic float level indicators

Series LT magnetic float level indicators are bypass-type devices designed for local and remote level indication, switching, and continuous 4–20 mA transmission. They feature a simple design, no leakage risk, excellent resistance to extreme pressure and temperature, and high chemical compatibility. Measuring range: 0.15 – 15 m, accuracy ±10 mm. Materials: AISI 316L stainless steel, PVC, PP, PVDF, PTFE. Connections: EN 1092-1 / ASME B16.5 flanges, BSP/NPT threads.

Operating principle

They operate on the principle of communicating vessels. A float inside the bypass chamber connected to the tank moves with the liquid level. The permanent magnet embedded in the float transmits its position externally without direct contact — either to an external follower float in a transparent glass tube or to bi-colour magnetic flaps on a rail.

• Process temperature: –20 °C to +400 °C (depending on material)

• Pressure rating: up to PN100 (AISI 316L), PN10–PN16 (plastics)

• Wetted parts materials: AISI 316L, PVC, PP, PVDF, PTFE

• Options: Reed switches, micro-switches, inductive switches (ATEX Ex d / Ex ia), 4–20 mA transmitters (HART, PROFIBUS PA)
