We are pleased to announce the release of new drive solution from Mitsubishi Electric: EM-A Motor + Tramec/Varmec gearboxes from the Inverter family.
When will the new series be available?
Since 1th of September the new EM-A Gearmotors is available and ready for sale
- Why Are We Introducing EM-A Gearmotors?
EM-A synchronous motors (IE5+) are innovative and unique Mitsubishi Electric solutions offering:
- Precise positioning without an encoder (sensorless control),
- Compact dimensions (up to 60% smaller vs induction motors),
- Exceptionally high energy efficiency (up to 12% savings vs IE3).
Until now, EM-A motors were not mechanically compatible with standard gearboxes – a complete drive solution was missing. Through our partnership with Tramec/Varmec (Moonind Group), we close this gap by offering a ready-to-use mechatronic solution: FR-E800 (soon: FR-D800) + EM-A motor + Tramec gearbox
Tramec was selected as an European Partner after 1.5 years of market analysis and evaluation based on:
- Competitive market pricing despite leading on the market quality, local manufacturing and supply chain and usage of quality components (e.g. NSK/FAG bearing, full synthetic lubricants etc.)
- Highest gearbox efficiency among evaluated suppliers.
- 100% local production in Italy and manufacturing flexibility
