GSR externally controlled valve for chemicals: actuator separated from the aggressive medium

On an acid, alkali or solvent dosing line a solenoid in contact with the product quickly becomes the failure point. A GSR externally controlled valve solves this differently: clean pilot air at 4–10 bar opens the seat, and the aggressive medium stays in the body. The actuator is separated from the fluid, so the same valve for aggressive media also handles slightly contaminated and viscous liquids — up to 600 mm²/s.

Angle-seat type 63 is a 2/2-way valve, normally closed, with normally open or double-acting actuator on request. Body in stainless steel 1.4408, brass or red brass; PTFE seat, seals in NBR, FKM, EPDM or PTFE. Pressure 0–40 bar with no differential required, medium temperature from −40 °C to +200 °C depending on the seal, connections G1/4–G3, Kv up to 125 m³/h. For liquids the manufacturer recommends closing against the flow.

Typical duties: chemical plants, mixing, water treatment, brewing, vacuum. The seal is selected for concentration, temperature and pressure, not from the acid name alone.
