Wrong choice or "the miser pays twice."

Mitsubishi Electric introduced the integration of Iconics and EcoAdviser platforms, a groundbreaking solution designed to revolutionize energy management with Artificial Intelligence capabilities. This combination is set to drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and significant cost savings for businesses across various sectors.

One of the Ukrainian enterprises decided to purchase Mitsubishi Electric modules for PLCs directly from Chinese trading platforms, since it seemed to them much cheaper than buying them from an official distributor.

In a short period of time, all these modules failed.

After that, the enterprise turned to us, as an official distributor, for help in identifying the causes of the breakdown.

During the inspection, it was found that the malfunction was caused by a breakdown of optocouplers due to the flow of an impermissible current through their LEDs - more than 50 mA, although the current should not exceed 20 mA. This is due to the mismatch of the parameters of the current-limiting elements with the calculated ones. Measurement of the parameters of the capacitors that limit the current in the input circuits showed a significant mismatch with the ratings indicated on their housings.

In-depth inspection of the module revealed that the module is a counterfeit, not an original Mitsubishi Electric product.

Differences in the marking of the printed circuit board and the electronic components used allow you to confidently distinguish a counterfeit from the original.

So always make the right decisions!
