Single Pair Ethernet leaves complex installations behind. Ultimately, the new SPE sensors make it possible to extend the Ethernet network all the way to the field level, enabling efficient communication across every stage of the automation pyramid — including a direct connection to JUMO Cloud.

Single Pair Ethernet reduces cabling effort by cutting it down to a single pair of wires. This pair is used both to power the sensors via Power over Data Line (PoDL) technology and to transmit precise sensor values digitally at high speed over cable distances of up to 1,000 meters.
