EHEDG Standards and JUMO PEKA Hygienic Adapter System

EHEDG (European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group) is an expert association founded in 1989, focused on promoting hygienic design and engineering in the food processing and packaging industries. The main goals of EHEDG are to increase awareness of hygiene, support hygienic design across all areas of food production, ensure food safety, and contribute to European legislation by providing practical guidelines for hygienic handling, processing, and packaging of food.

The JUMO PEKA hygienic process connection adapter system (https://kck.ua/catalog/prinalezhnosti-4 ) is developed in accordance with these principles. The system is available for measuring instruments used in temperature, pressure, and conductivity applications.

All product-contacting parts of the adapter system are made of stainless steel 1.4435 (316L) and are equipped with FDA-compliant seals. Thanks to its dead-space-free installation and hygienic design, the system is easy to clean and perfectly suited for the stringent requirements of the food industry, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors.

With a wide range of process connections — including weld-in sockets, orbital weld-in sockets, clamp connections, aseptic connections according to DIN 11864-1, and VARIVENT® — the JUMO PEKA system offers maximum flexibility and reliability for virtually any hygienic application.
