You want it, you've got it...
A major pharmaceutical company raised significant objections to instrumentation made from plastic materials, creating a specific need...
The application: measuring low flow rates and detecting minimum flow of diethylamine at temperatures up to 95ºC on a production line that also required a control valve integrated into the flowmeter.
✔️ The Tecfluid solution: an M21 series flowmeter made of Hastelloy C with regulating valve and model M1-AMD NAMUR inductive switch.
❓ Why? Because although pure diethylamine at low temperatures is compatible with more economical materials like AISI 316L, Hastelloy C stands out by remaining inert when exposed to hot amines and mixtures contaminated with chlorides or acids, conditions frequently encountered in this type of application.
