SAVING ON THE INVENTORY COSTS. ONE SENSOR — SEVERAL TYPES OF CONNECTION

It’s not a secret that uninterrupted work of the modern enterprise (production) mainly depends on SPTA inventories. The more components are available in the warehouse, the less time will be spent to eliminate the failure. However, it is not really clear, where is that optimal ratio between the frozen balances in the warehouse and losses incurred as a result of the down time (as the required spare part was not available in the warehouse)? The most relevant this issue is for the food industry companies, where the downtime usually leads to spoiling of raw materials. To solve this issue, JUMO specialists developed the innovative system of multifunction adapter for integration into PEKA process. This system allows to “connect” the necessary integration into the process to the various instrument sensors (resistant temperature detector, pressure sensor, conductometric cell).

The system has no “dead zones”, and the whole structure can be easily cleaned, as the adapter system has been developed specially, considering the requirements of the hygienic processes and has been designed and certified according to EHEDG Directive (European group for the development of hygienic equipment). Using this technology, you do not need to store 5 sensors in the warehouse with one and the same range of measurement and different connections to the process, cause you can have one sensor and 5 adapters, which will allow to significantly reduce inventory expenses.
