Successful commissioning of a high-voltage inverter for a 2.8 MW motor with a voltage of 6 kV on a pellet production line at one of the largest Ukrainian mining and processing plants.
KSK-Automation has successfully implemented a solution for fan control based on a high-voltage frequency converter TM-Drive MVe2 (6 kV, 2.8 mW) on the pellet production line at one of the largest Ukrainian mining and processing plants. МVe2 is the most modern solution of such drives - on the basis of IGBT not only the inverter part, but also the rectifier is realized.
The advantages of this architecture are the use of a 36-pulse circuit, a simple multi-winding dry transformer, an ideal output sine wave, high efficiency, the possibility of dynamic braking or recuperation in the network, the use of free power to regulate cos φ. The frequency converter is controlled from the process control system of the shop. The use of such an inverter significantly increases the life of the fan and motor and improves the quality of process control.
Chief installation and commissioning works were performed in a short time by certified service engineers.
